Vikas Divyakirti expressed strong dismay over a scene in Animal where Ranbir Kapoor asks Triptii Dimri to lick his shoe. He raised concerns about the impact such scenes could have on impressionable viewers, especially those with a feudal mindset. Vikas emphasized the responsibility filmmakers have in portraying respectful relationships. He criticized the film’s lack of sensitivity, stating, “It is sad when we make such careless and mean-spirited films. These kinds of forces are always present in the world, but we shouldn’t glorify them.”

Vikas Divyakirti recently appeared in the acclaimed movie “12th Fail,” which tells the inspiring story of real-life IPS officer Manoj Kumar Sharma, portrayed by Vikrant Massey. In the film, Vikas plays the role of Sharma’s educator.

Returning to “Animal,” earlier Javed Akhtar and Kangana Ranaut criticized the Ranbir Kapoor starrer, calling its success dangerous.
