Acting on a tip-off, the raid occurred late at night. Located in Fort, the bar allegedly served tobacco-based hookah. If proven that they disguised tobacco as herbal, they could face charges under the Cigarettes and Other Tobacco Products Act, leading to fines and imprisonment upon conviction.

In 2021, Munawar Faruqui, a stand-up comedian, faced 37 days in jail for allegedly hurting Hindu sentiments. He was held in Indore’s Central Jail after a political party accused his humor of being offensive. This incident caused significant trouble for him, impacting his ability to participate in Khatron Ke Khiladi 11 due to visa problems.
