Shruti Ulfat reveals how Shehada Dhami and Pratiksha Honmukhe were informed about their termination:

Shruti Ulfat, who acts as Vidya Poddar in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, recently talked about the day Rajan Shahi asked Shehzada Dhami and Pratiksha Honmkhe to leave. Shruti shared that they were called for a meeting with the producer to discuss the upcoming IPL and working together for the show’s success. They were chatting about it when suddenly, Shahi gathered everyone and talked about the actors’ behavior and atmosphere on set. They didn’t expect what followed.

Shruti then shared that Rajan Shahi suddenly told Shehzada Dhami to leave the set, and his termination letter would be sent. Shahi publicly announced that his services weren’t needed anymore. “We were all shocked and confused, wondering what was going on,” Shruti said. Everyone was left wondering what had just happened.

After that, the Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai producer told them that a new actor had arrived, replacing Pratiksha. He informed her that her services were no longer needed and asked her to leave the set within 10-15 minutes. The actress revealed they were aware of a mock shoot but were told it was for another show.

Shruti Ulfat talks about professionalism

The interviewer asked Shruti about her thoughts on Pratiksha Honmukhe and Shehzada Dhami being more careful. Shruti agrees, saying one should do their work diligently. She emphasizes working as a team for the show’s success, not for oneself. “If there’s a show, there’s you,” she adds, highlighting the importance of respecting the opportunity. Shruti believes if actors don’t value the platform, the makers won’t respect them either.
