Khanna’s portrayal of Anuj Kapadia has become integral to the show’s success. Fans adore his performance, and he’s amassed a large following. Khanna’s portrayal of Anuj’s youthful appearance post-leap, including his hairstyle, attire, and physique transformation, has been particularly praised. His classy demeanor and impressive portrayal have made Anuj Kapadia an indispensable part of “Anupamaa,” showcasing Khanna’s talent and charisma in the world of television.
Gaurav Khanna attended an Iftaar party hosted by “Anupamaa” producer Rajan Shahi on the show’s set. He was accompanied by his wife, Akanksha Chamola. During the event, Khanna discussed his appearance with Telly Chakkar.

When asked about Anuj’s appearance, Akanksha expressed her preference for Gaurav’s initial entry look in “Anupamaa.” She believed it was unbeatable. However, she also appreciated Anuj’s younger appearance post-leap.
Gaurav mentioned that his initial look in the show was unique and not often seen in other shows. He strives to continually innovate, avoiding repeating his original appearance. As an actor, he aims to maintain a fresh look.
Gaurav lost 5-6 kgs for his new look in Anupamaa:
Gaurav shared that Rajan Shahi instructed him to appear youthful, stylish, and distinctly different from his initial appearance on the show. Gaurav eagerly awaited Shahi’s directive and promptly began refining his appearance accordingly. He disclosed shedding the 5-6 kgs he had gained for Anuj Kapadia’s original look, as part of his effort to meet Shahi’s vision.
Gaurav returned to his original physique and is enjoying his current appearance. However, he mentioned that this new look has also become common, so he plans to explore something fresh and different.
