Unfortunately, it didn’t happen because Priyanka moved to Hollywood for more opportunities, especially working on “Quantico.” Priyanka had asked them to wait, but then she became a huge sensation overnight, and the series got a second season. This unexpected turn of events led to the movie not materializing.
Boney Kapoor disclosed that the movie starring Priyanka Chopra and Diljit Dosanjh was named “Sardarni.” Priyanka’s rising opportunities in Hollywood made her prioritize her career there, leading to the film’s cancellation. It would’ve been intriguing to see Diljit and Priyanka together on screen.

According to India Today, Swarn Sivia revealed that the late actress Sridevi was a fan of Amar Singh Chamkila. She wanted him to act in movies, but Chamkila declined because he couldn’t speak Hindi. Sridevi offered to teach him in a month, but he refused, fearing he’d lose Rs 10 lakh. Sridevi even agreed to star in a Punjabi movie with him, but it didn’t work out.
