According to media reports, Prabhas’ fee has surged following the disappointment of his recent film, “Adipurush.” Contrary to expectations, his fee has risen. Reportedly, he’s charging a staggering Rs 150 crore for his next movie. This amounts to 25% of the entire film budget, as per a report in Koimoi.com citing Navbharat Times.
Amitabh Bachchan portrays Ashwatthama in “Kalki 2989 AD,” holding a senior role in the cast. The makers recently unveiled his first look from the movie. However, his fee is considerably lower compared to the lead actor. Reports suggest that Prabhas earns about 733 percent more than Bachchan. The megastar’s fee is Rs 18 crore, whereas for his previous film, “Uunchai,” he allegedly received Rs 10 crore.
Deepika Padukone and more celebs cast fees for Kalki 2989 AD:
According to Koimoi.com, Deepika Padukone, expecting a baby, charges Rs 20 crore for Nag Ashwin’s film, up from Rs 15 crore for her last film, “Fighter.” This marks a 33% increase in her fee. Kamal Haasan plays the main antagonist in “Kalki 2989 AD,” with an extended cameo, reportedly earning Rs 50 crore, compared to Rs 20 crore for his previous project. Disha Patani, also in the film, is said to earn Rs 2 crore for her role.
Reportedly, “Kalki 2989 AD” has a budget of Rs 600 crores, with pre-sales totaling Rs 750 crore. Speculation suggests the movie’s release has been shifted to June 2024.
