According to a recent post by film journalist Rahul Raut on X (formerly known as Twitter), Kartik Aaryan is set to star in Vishal Bhardwaj’s upcoming movie. Directed by Bhardwaj and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, the film will feature Kartik as Hussain Ustara, a brave don who stood up against underworld figure Dawood Ibrahim. Shooting begins in September 2024. Interestingly, this was the same project Bhardwaj wanted to do with Irrfan Khan and Deepika Padukone, titled “Sapna Didi,” but it didn’t happen. Now, the script has been modified to focus on Hussain Ustara’s perspective.
