Zeenat Aman suggested couples try living together before marriage in a recent social media post. However, Mumtaz disagrees with this advice.

Zeenat Aman, now a social media sensation, is making waves with her posts. Recently, she gave relationship advice, suggesting couples try living together before marriage. She believes it’s important to know each other well before involving families and the government. However, her co-star Mumtaz disagrees with this advice.

In a recent Zoom interview, Mumtaz disagreed with Zeenat Aman’s advice on relationships. Mumtaz believes Zeenat shouldn’t give relationship advice and fears it could harm the institution of marriage. She questioned if society would accept women who’ve had live-in relationships as daughters-in-law. Mumtaz highlighted her own troubled marriage to Mazhar Khan, despite knowing him for years. She suggested Zeenat Aman shouldn’t offer advice due to her own marital struggles.

Mumtaz also cautioned Zeenat to be careful with her advice, suggesting she might be carried away by sudden social media fame. She hinted at Zeenat trying to sound trendy, like a “cool aunty.”

Mumtaz’ opinion on marriage:

Mumtaz believes marriages shouldn’t be rushed because there’s no guarantee of success, even if a couple lives together before. She thinks marriages need effort to maintain and aren’t easy. She suggests raising self-sufficient children and says if someone wants kids, they can have them without physical intimacy, thanks to advancements in the world.

Mumtaz and Zeenat Aman appeared together in the hit film “Haré Rama Haré Krishna” alongside Dev Anand. The movie gained cult status over time.
