Leaked set photos are making rounds on social media, building excitement among fans.

Ramayana makers to rope in this top Telugu filmmaker?

Ramayana is set for a pan-India release, including South Indian languages. The makers have approached Trivikram Srinivas, a renowned director known for hits like “Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo” and “Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava,” to write the Telugu dialogues. Sandeep Reddy Vanga, director of “Animal,” praised Trivikram’s writing skills, highlighting his expertise in Telugu literature. This collaboration hints at a promising regional version of the epic saga, adding to the anticipation surrounding the film’s release.

Ramayana to be a landmark project for Indian cinema:

Ramayana will be a trilogy, with the first part concluding after Maa Sita’s kidnapping. Produced by Namit Malhotra and Nitesh Tiwari, the film’s visuals are handled by DNEG, known for VFX in “Dune” and “Interstellar.” Filming will predominantly take place in London. Recent reports reveal Sushmita Mukherjee’s casting as Manthara, the character behind Kaikeyi’s evil intentions. With such updates, anticipation for the epic saga’s cinematic retelling continues to grow.

Other castings for “Ramayana” reportedly include Harman Baweja as Vibhishan, Sakshi Tanwar as Mandodari, and Rakul Preet Singh as Surpanakha.
