Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai writer Utkarsh has revealed details about Harshad Chopda and Pranali Rathod’s characters, Akshara and Abhimanyu.
Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai” is the longest-running TV show since 2009, with a huge fan base. Fans love the twists in the story. It started with Hina Khan and Karan Mehra as Akshara and Naitik in a simple arranged marriage tale. Then, Shivangi Joshi and Mohsin Khan became Naira and Kartik for eight years, adored by fans. Now, Harshad Chopda and Pranali Rathod joined as Abhimanyu and Akshara, known as AbhiRa, with a massive fan following. Fans were upset when this generation ended.

The writer of “Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai,” Utkarsh Naithani, has shared insights on Abhimanyu and Akshara’s characters. He explained why he couldn’t unfold their story as he intended. Utkarsh admitted uncertainty about the story’s success. He revealed Akshara’s character had a larger storyline than Abhimanyu’s in his vision.
Utkarsh also shared his regret about not reaching the point where Akshara’s character would have flourished. He wished he had the opportunity to continue the storyline further and revealed how it would have progressed.
He wrote, “Imagine a storyline where Abhi, after marriage, achieves success in his career instead of facing new challenges. His life evolves, but he’s uncertain because he’s always been a fighter. He knows defense and aggression but struggles without enemies. Akshara steps in, showing him the importance of enduring relationships.
